Before changes to source objects can be promoted through the lifecycle and put into production, approval of the changes must take place. Breeze allows remote approvers to vote on packages of changed source from any web-ready workstation. True Enterprise Packages Breeze supports the promotion and deployment of packages containing virtually any type of source or object on any platform. Cross platform packages built on the OS/390 by CIG's Cloud 9 can include both legacy and distributed development artifacts. This simplifies and standardizes change control practices for all platforms within an enterprise. Email Notification Approvers are informed of packages awaiting their approval via email. An embedded hyperlink within the email launches Breeze and displays all of the packages requiring their vote. The Power of the Browser Breeze is a browser application, enabled to the OS/390 via IBM's HTTP server. It is launched onto any platform that supports a browser, allowing managers to approve changes from anywhere in the world. No Client Side Software Because Breeze is entirely host-based, there is no client side software for administrators to install. This saves time and money. |
